Location:   United Day School is located at 1701 San Isidro Parkway in Laredo, Texas just off McPherson Road inside the Bob Bullock Loop. 

Grade Levels:  The school serves elementary and middle school students.  Two classes each of Pre-Kindergarten (4 year olds) thru 8th grade. 

School Term: The academic year begins in August with the first semester and ends in May with the second semester.  The school is on a nine-week reporting system.  Students receive report cards at the end of each nine weeks.  In addition mid-review reports are sent to all students at the end of each 4th week of the nine weeks and progress reports are sent at the end of each 6th week of the nine weeks to students whose grade fall below an 80 average.

Teacher Student Ratio:  In order to promote maximum teacher-student interaction all classes are limited to no more that 24 students.  Pre-Kindergarten – 1st grades have instructional aides lowering the ratio of 1:12 for those classes. 

Subjects Taught: The core academic program consists of Language Arts/Reading, Mathematics (Algebra for 8th grade), 8th grade AP Algebra, AP Literature and Language Arts, Science/health and Social Studies.  Other subjects include: Physical education PK-8, Music PK-5, Art PK-6 Computer Literacy and Technology PK-8, Spanish as a second language PK-8, and Speech and Art are offered as electives for the middle school.
