Dear Parents,

I can’t believe this year went by so fast. Thank you for all that you did to help the process go smoothly. I hope your child will carry with them the lessons we learned not only in the academic areas, but also the lessons we learned through the Character Counts and the Bully Prevention Program. I know that I learned a lot from your child and because of this I will be a better person and a better teacher. Please encourage your child to stop by and visit with me next year, and know that I am here in case they need anything.

To my fifth grade students,

When the heart is heavy and words are not enough, I turn to music. From the bottom of my heavy heart, I thank each and every one of you for touching my life. Every gesture, every hug, every smile, every rolling of the eyes, I will carry with me. You guys have been great!
